Social Innovation Lab logo and communication strategy
The Social Innovation Lab is a grant-funded project with a mission to strengthen community by bringing together "change makers" around specific topics such as sustainable food, health and well-being. When I discovered the organization, they were in search of a graphic designer to develop a logo for them as volunteer work. I quickly discovered they had great passion and ideas but it was hard for them to succinctly describe their vision or who it needed to reach. With the help of another volunteer communications specialist, we defined the messaging and communications strategy and then built an identity. I developed the logo and a simple website design and information structure, which they implemented themselves through Wordpress.
